I'm a bit late getting this review out. We picked up some fruit trees along with a few other items during the summer and ran into some serious delivery issues. This had nothing to do with Direct Plants, quite the opposite really. Shaun, the managing director, reached out personally to apologize multiple times and took it upon himself to sort out the delivery, even following up with a text after it finally arrived to check if everything was okay. I can't find any fault with Direct Plants at all. More importantly, the trees are thriving six months later. I'm about to grab some more now and would definitely recommend them.

Incredible service in every way! From lightning-fast responses and guidance on tree types and pollination mates to a smooth ordering process and excellent delivery! Plus, the attention to detail in packing and shipping was impressive. They were snug as a bug, no wobbling or damage thanks to the careful wrapping! I got an apple, a peach, and a fig tree, all of which are top-notch. I’d definitely suggest this to anyone considering a purchase and will gladly use this service again! 😊

I’ve reached out to them through email, their website chat, Instagram, and Facebook, but got no reply. I was hoping to change my order, but that didn’t happen. When I got home from work, I found the tree I ordered just sitting in boxes flat outside my door—had no clue they were arriving today. This company has awful customer service. I’ve even had to contact PayPal to request a refund.

Hey there! I just got my order from Plants Direct, which included a 3-4FT LARGE BLACK GRAPE VINE FRUIT PLANT - VITIS BOSKOOP GLORY - 3L. Honestly, it’s the best packaged product I’ve ever received. The Grape Vine is in fantastic shape, to top it off. Big thanks to Direct Plants! I’ll definitely be shopping with you again. I recently cleared out an allotment I’ve been waiting ages for, and this is my first plant addition. I’ll be back for more and more. Seriously, I can’t recommend this company enough!

I was really blown away by the quality of the plants that showed up and how fast they got here. I had my doubts when I placed the order since there weren't any reviews, so I was a bit worried. But I really wanted a Peach tree, a Nectarine tree, and an edible Cherry tree right away as a gift for someone special. I didn’t want a bare root plant arriving in November—I needed them now! Most other places were out of stock on actual trees. THESE TREES WERE AMAZING, packed well, arrived in perfect condition, and super quick. Ten out of ten, I'm one happy customer.

I got myself 2 apple trees, 2 plum trees, and a peach tree. Out of the 5, 4 arrived in great shape, but the peach tree was a bit undernourished, showing some serious phosphorus issues. After two weeks, it still shows signs of that deficiency, but it’s looking better after I fed it.

As for customer service, it’s a bit of a mixed bag. I accidentally ordered several trees separately and reached out to see if they could ship them together and refund the postage difference, but I didn’t hear back after a week.

All in all, I’d totally recommend this plant nursery as one of the best options available in the UK right now.

I was disappointed by a different nursery and was in a rush for a specific plant (it was a gift). Direct Plants had what I was looking for and even rushed the delivery so it got here on time. I can't thank them enough, especially Karina. The plant is beautiful and in great shape, plus it was packed really well.

I purchased a tree from Direct Plants about a month back, and it’s already dead. I tried calling them at 01485 601143, but they don’t seem to talk to their customers. What’s up with that? I have to send an email instead, but why? Did I just throw my money away? I’m waiting for a response to my email—will it even come? Am I gonna get my cash back? Do they even care? Can I trust Direct Plants again? Are they for real? So many questions on my mind.

I just had my first go with this company, and I gotta say, I was super happy with the little tree I got. The packaging blew me away! It came in a really solid box, with four canes keeping the plant steady and the pot nice and firm. Plus, there were two hand holes in the box that made it easy to lift and keep it upright. The plant showed up looking as fresh as if I had picked it up from a local store—never had that happen before! I definitely recommend this place.

Amazing service! I placed my order on a Sunday, and by Friday, everything was delivered and even planted! I'm really pleased. I goofed up my order and forgot to include one plant, which meant I’d have to pay for delivery on a second order. But Karina quickly fixed it, ensuring both orders were combined and even refunded the delivery fee. Super quick response time. The plants and trees came in perfect shape, all stunning and carefully packaged. I can't recommend them enough for their quality, attention, and customer support. These plants are just amazing, top-notch quality and arrived in great shape. What’s shown on the site is exactly what you receive. Honestly, they outshine my nearby garden center. Awesome value and I wouldn’t shop anywhere else.

I ordered my very first Cox's Orange Pippin, a five-foot tree. I got a stake and tie, dug a hole, and was all set for this new addition to my garden. When it showed up, it was well packaged, but I was bummed to see the poor tree covered in brown spots. Turns out, it had apple scab, which wasn’t mentioned in the ad. The folks at Direct Plants were super nice and asked me to send some pics of the issue for advice. I did, and they reassured me it was just a common fungus, offering a refund if I wanted to send the tree back. After reading up on apple scab, I chose to keep the ailing tree and give it a chance to thrive in my garden. So, my second order, a Scrumptious, went to a different place.

I was on the hunt for a Holly tree to go with one I already owned. I reached out to Karina, and she was super helpful. She mentioned that the tree they could provide would likely be a good fit, though it might be a tad bushier than my current one. I went ahead and ordered it, and it was shipped out quickly. Honestly, I was a bit blown away when I opened the package. The tree is an incredible specimen—so healthy, large, and bushy! It’s so beautiful that I hesitated to trim it down to match my other tree. The price was such a steal that I decided to get another one, and once more, Karina assured me she thinks she can find a match. I’m really excited for the next delivery. I got a bunch of bushes and trees for a landscaping gig for a client. All the greenery showed up nicely packed, in great shape, and honestly, these are the healthiest plants I've received from any seller. Direct Plants is definitely gonna be my go-to for plants from now on, and I can't wait to collaborate with them again.

Fantastic customer support! I’d surely recommend this place! Karina from the customer service team responded to all our questions through email, and the delivery guy was super friendly and helpful, letting us inspect the trees before he took off. The plum trees showed up in great shape and were just as described! I couldn’t be more pleased and will absolutely be placing another order soon!
